HortiCULTURAL Landscapes Symposium

Public gardens tell the stories of their communities’ natural and cultural commonwealth. Speakers will be from Thomas Jefferson's historic estate, Monticello, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Mt. Cuba Center and the Arboretum at Penn State. Through the art and science of interpretation, they use these stories to build strong communities through provoking important conversations among their audiences. Through the process of interpretation, people are connected to plants and also to one another.
