Webex Meetings makes hosting an online meeting or program easy. You can schedule a meeting in advance or start one right away. When it’s time to meet, you can present and collaborate with your team as if you’re in the same room. Because this is a university-supported platform, we recommend utilizing Webex for meetings of more than five people and/or for larger student programs.
Installing & Using Webex:
- First, we recommend first searching your computer to see if the Webex Meetings software has already been installed.
- If you do not have Webex Meetings installed, follow these steps to access the IBM Big Fix platform:
- On a PC, navigate to the lower right corner menu and click the red box with a white “W” in it. Find and install Webex Meetings.
- On a Mac, visit the menu in the top right corner of your screen near the WiFi symbol. Find and click the blue “b” with a circle around it. Find and install Webex Meetings.
- If these options are not successful, you can begin the process by following these instructions or by visiting https://uwmadison.webex.com and signing in with your primary campus email address.
