Please fill out the form below to let the Office of Undergraduate Advising (OUA) know you’re new to your advising role on campus.
We will use this information to begin the process of bringing the you into the advising community and connecting you with important resources that will help in your work.

Subscribe to the Advisor-link email list to receive campus-wide communication from colleagues about programs, updates, and opportunities to engage. To stay up-to-date with information about career advising and services on campus, you can also subscribe to the Career Services Council (CSC) email list.
3. Meet Us
Meet with Wren Singer, Associate Vice Provost and Director of Undergraduate Advising. Schedule your meeting by reaching out to info@advising.wisc.edu
4. Attend New Employee Orientation
Attend a New Employee Orientation.
5. Register for Training
Participate in the New Advisor & Career Services Staff Academy (NACSSA) where you can build community with new advising and career services professionals while learning about key UW-Madison resources.
6. Find a Mentor
Find an experienced advisor to support you during your first year on campus by participating in our Mentor Match program.
7. Familiarize yourself with FERPA
Familiarize yourself with FERPA.
8. Gain Access to Advising Tools
Gain access to important advising tools.
9. Learn More
Seek out unit-specific training and support from your school/college/department.

9. Familiarize yourself with FERPA
