The Physics Learning Center (PLC) provides a supportive learning community for studying physics and opportunities to find study partners.  Students work together in small-group learning team sessions to practice problem solving and discuss key concepts. Study groups meet twice each week and are led by trained peer tutors and staff.   We also offer access to extra study materials and exam review sessions.  We look forward to meeting you!
Our Mission is to provide academic support, mentoring, and small group supplemental instruction to students studying intro physics (103, 104, 207, 208) as well as facilitate teaching and leadership experience for undergraduate Peer Mentor Tutors who receive extensive training and supervision.

What Makes Us Unique . . . Students have the opportunity to extend their learning from lecture, lab and discussion through participation in the Physics Learning Center’s small group learning teams.  These sessions provide students with the opportunity to practice with problem-solving and to discuss key concepts in a supportive learning environment.
