Greater University Tutoring Service (GUTS)

Greater University Tutoring Services's display board.

GUTS provides peer-to-peer tutoring to students on a variety of subjects, based on student request. We also provide language exchange programs and student skills advising.
Our Mission is to provide UW-Madison students with free tutorial assistance in a variety of subjects and encourage their personal and academic growth, to provide volunteer, peer-tutoring opportunities for students, and to provide opportunities for staff members to develop leadership skills by administering and coordinating the tutorial programs.

What Makes Us Unique . . . our services are peer-led. It offers students an opportunity to learn from another student who has found success in the subjects and areas they are looking for tutoring in. We are dedicated to connecting UW students with volunteer tutors for assistance with academic courses, study skills, conversational English, and intercultural exchange.
