The English 100 Tutorial Program offers students a chance to meet one-on-one with an experienced instructor outside their own class setting. The goal of the Tutorial Program is to provide a sounding board for English 100 writers at all levels of expertise and at any point in the writing process. This includes help with planning, drafting, revising, and reviewing and responding to feedback on English 100 assignments.
Our Mission is to provide students with an outside perspective on their writing from experienced tutors in order to help them take their work to the next level. Tutorials can help you understand course readings, tackle short writing assignments, brainstorm paper topics, revise early drafts, prepare for productive conferences with your instructor-- and more.

What Makes Us Unique . . . Research and experience show that any writer can benefit from an outside perspective. The English 100 Tutorial offers a chance for students to get that perspective from tutors who know the course's goals, and have lots of experience working with writers in a one-on-one setting.
