Chemistry Learning Center (CLC)

The Chemistry Learning Center (CLC) provides small-group, collaborative, learning environments for students enrolled in general and organic chemistry courses. Because of limited resources, not all students seeking support are admitted to the CLC program.  Before applying, please read more on the CLC website.

Our Mission is to provide a collaborative, safe, and supportive learning environment for general and organic chemistry students. The staff focus on effective learning strategies and general problem-solving approaches with students actively working on problems in small groups.

What Makes Us Unique . . . Our facilitators establish a safe space so students are comfortable asking questions, and provide immediate feedback as students solve problems. Students actively work on problems and support one another in an encouraging small-group atmosphere. The staff facilitates and highlights effective learning strategies and demonstrates general problem-solving approaches so students can use their time efficiently.
